Job Title: Vice-President - College or University

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join our team as Vice-President - College or University at St. Francis Xavier University. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior academic administrator to lead and manage the academic and administrative functions of the university.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the university's academic and administrative units.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of academic programs and services.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to promote a culture of excellence and innovation in teaching, research, and community engagement.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of academic plans, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Provide leadership and support to faculty and staff in their professional development and career advancement.
  • Represent the university in various external forums and partnerships.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in academic administration, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leadership, management, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
