Job Title: Vice-President - College or University

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join our team as Vice-President - College or University at St. Francis Xavier University. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the academic and research agenda of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the academic and research units of the university.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of academic programs and services.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to promote a culture of excellence and innovation in teaching, research, and community engagement.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure the effective allocation of resources.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community organizations.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior administrative role in higher education.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience, with a focus on academic and research initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
