Job Description

B.C. LTD is seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including resilient flooring, hardwood flooring, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Install resilient floor coverings, hardwood floors, and other types of flooring
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in flooring installation
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Hand-eye coordination
Work Environment

The work environment will be commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, rural, and urban areas. You will be required to work in various locations and may be required to travel.
