The Role

  • Collaborate with senior management and team members to identify and execute potential equity and debt financing opportunities for our diverse fund offerings.
  • Conduct financial analyses to assess the performance of our funds, providing valuable insights for internal stakeholders and external parties.
  • Monitor market trends, analyze competitor offerings, and study news relevant to multi-family residential, self-storage, farmland investments, and debt and equity markets.
  • Create presentations, offering documents, and marketing materials to present our fund offerings and strategies to potential investors and other interested parties.
  • Work closely with legal, accounting, and advisory teams to perform due diligence on our fund offerings, ensuring all necessary documentation and regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in private equity, capital markets, investment banking, fund management, asset management, corporate banking, management consulting, or corporate finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Completion or working towards a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst (CAIA), or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Advanced knowledge of capital markets, real estate investment, corporate finance, asset management, accounting, and fund administration concepts.
  • Proven experience in leading teams, including managing cross-functional teams, delegating tasks effectively, and overseeing project development and execution.
  • Experience working on equity and/or debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and other strategic transactions.
  • Ability to develop investment strategies and provide recommendations for changes or enhancements to improve investment objectives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to absorb, grasp, and articulate new concepts quickly, build and manage relationships, and cultivate key partnerships.
  • Experience communicating and collaborating with senior management, including developing and delivering effective presentations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with experience in financial statement modeling and comparable analysis.
