Accounting Clerk

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team at Howard Johnson by Wyndham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports and providing support to our accounting team.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger and trial balance.
Reporting and AnalysisThe successful candidate will prepare various financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements. They will also analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Support to Accounting TeamThe Accounting Clerk will provide support to our accounting team, including reconciliations, journal entries and other tasks as required.
Requirements- Education
A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Skills and QualificationsThe successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They will also have proficiency in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Working ConditionsThis is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to speak English fluently.
Salary$45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
