Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team at Jean Coutu Dieppe. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy and retail store.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage staff and assign duties to ensure efficient store operations
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and sales volumes
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and locate and select products for resale
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and customer engagement
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to ensure a high-performing team
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure exceptional customer service and sales results
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a retail or pharmacy environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure
- Basic security clearance and bondable
- Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
