We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team at Transdev Canada in Calgary. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing financial planning, analysis, accounting, and reporting for Transdev West.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of accounting professionals to deliver accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with company deadlines.
  • Partner with stakeholders to assess data quality, streamline data flows, and enhance processes for improved financial and operational reporting.
  • Develop and review financial models to inform business decisions and add value to strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee the annual budgeting process and mid-year forecasting, ensuring alignment with company goals and financial plans.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits, working closely with auditors to ensure compliance and efficient processes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance roles, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
  • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in order to support operational decisions.
