Job Title: Construction Labourer and Helper

We are seeking a reliable and physically demanding Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at 14742281 Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist skilled tradespersons in various construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, mixing and pouring concrete, and assisting in framing houses and erecting walls.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist skilled tradespersons in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Assist skilled tradespersons in various tasks
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Willing to travel regularly
  • Public transportation is available
  • Physically demanding
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and ear plugs
  • Flexibility, reliability, and team player
Work Environment:

The work site environment is outdoors, noisy, and dusty. The work setting is various locations, and the job is permanent with 40 hours per week.

The language of work is English.
