Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Lullaboo Nursery and Childcare Center. This is a permanent position with an estimated salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. They will also supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, lead activities, and assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing child-care programs that meet the needs of children
  • Supervising staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Leading activities such as storytelling, singing, and taking children on outings
  • Assisting early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining records and tracking child progress

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and be comfortable with repetitive tasks. They will also be required to attend staff meetings and contribute to creating a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Experience working with children aged 0-12 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
