About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Educator Specialist to join our team at Ontario Inc.


Responsibilities

  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leading activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children on educational outings.
  • Fostering creativity in children through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Engaging children in activities that promote learning and development.
  • Guiding children in developing good eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and reporting to parents or guardians as needed.

Certifications and Qualifications

  • Holding an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate is mandatory for this role.

  • Providing support to newcomers and refugees by assisting with foreign credential recognition.

Working Conditions

  • This is a permanent position with 32-40 hours of work per week.
  • The working language is English.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000, based on the Canadian average for Early Childhood Educators. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as paid time off and professional development opportunities.
