Lullaboo Nursery and Child Care Centre is seeking a dedicated Childcare Professional to join our team. We are a reputable child care centre providing quality education and care for children aged 0-12 years.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Early Childhood Educator to work in our nursery school setting. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for early childhood education and be committed to delivering high-quality programs that meet the needs of our young learners.

The ideal candidate will have a certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and relevant experience working with children aged 0-5 years. They will be able to demonstrate their ability to plan and implement engaging and educational programs, as well as provide excellent support to children and families.

Responsibilities
  • To develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
  • To supervise staff, trainees or volunteers, and ensure they are aware of and follow all policies and procedures.
  • To lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest.
  • To assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and maintaining accurate files.
  • To encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity.
  • To guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
  • To prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • To observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor.
  • To establish guidelines for behaviour and maintain a safe and respectful environment for all children.
Requirements
  • Certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
  • Relevant experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and compliance with all relevant laws and policies.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 per year, plus benefits including dental and health care plans, vision care benefits, group insurance benefits and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
