Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the University Hospital of Northern BC. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure the highest level of quality and safety
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that fosters open communication and teamwork
Requirements
  • Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • Post-graduate courses (within the last five years) appropriate to service assignment or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to promote safe, competent, patient care
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the healthcare team
