Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the University Hospital of Northern BC. As a key member of our Maternal Child Services department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a collaborative and dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with the UHNBC mission statement.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
  • Advanced preparation in a Perinatal clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current Fetal Health Surveillance and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • Post-graduate courses or equivalent combination of training and experience.
