Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing nursing procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge and competencies to work at full scope of practice as currently required by the CLPNBC
