Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for optimizing routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
Responsibilities- Plan and adjust routes using computer equipment and GPS devices to ensure efficient transportation
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Operate trucks to transport goods and materials across various terrains
- Maintain vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other essential equipment
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to guarantee safe transportation
- Communicate with central dispatch and relay important information
- Tarp and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit
- Hold a valid Class 3 or D Driver's License
- Possess excellent navigation and communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Will undergo training to improve skills and knowledge
- Permanent employment opportunity
