Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and organized Culinary Team Member to join our team at La Carnita. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for coordinating special events, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and maintaining inventory and records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate special events and functions, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experience.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate inventory and records to ensure efficient operations.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, providing valuable insights for kitchen operations and inventory management.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
  • Manage kitchen operations, working collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handling heavy loads and repetitive tasks with ease.
  • Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
