Role Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to participate in market growth and development while building client trust through effective communication.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate Addenda Private Wealth's investment philosophy and risk management approach to current and prospective clients effectively.
  • Explain the value proposition to independent advisors to develop referrals.
  • Take an investment consulting approach to discretionary investment management through client needs assessment.
  • Construct client portfolios using pooled funds and separately managed accounts.
  • Work with the Private Wealth team to evolve and improve model portfolios and have input on asset mixes and weightings.
  • Regularly meet with clients to discuss performance, markets, and review any changes to their financial and non-financial goals.
  • Take a proactive approach to monitor and re-balance portfolios in compliance with the client's Investment Policy Statement.
  • Support the achievement of business development, revenue, retention, and compliance goals.
  • Acquire new clients either through professional contacts, centers of influence, or independent advisors.
Requirements
  • An undergraduate university degree.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a similar role in the financial services industry.
  • CFA designation, or alternatives required to meet the portfolio manager's/associate portfolio manager registration requirements (compulsory).
  • A high-level proficiency with Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • A proven ability to develop long-lasting, trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A successful track record in business development and closing deals.
Salary Range

The estimated annual salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 based on industry standards and location.
