Job Summary:

As an Occupational Therapist II, you will be responsible for coordinating occupational therapy and allied health clinical services within a program or service area. You will provide supervision to students and team members, and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide safe, efficient, and effective client care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate occupational therapy and allied health clinical services within a program or service area
  • Provide supervision to students and team members
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide safe, efficient, and effective client care
  • Make day-to-day clinical decisions on patient/family needs regarding assessment, intervention, discharge, and follow-up
  • Advise team members on complex clinical cases and provide clinical leadership within the program or service area
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with all ages and all types of patients, from pediatrics to seniors
