Caledonia Junior High is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Educational Program Assistant to join our team. As an EPA, you will provide support to students with diverse needs, working collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students with daily living skills, such as toileting and personal care
  • Support students with behavioral challenges, using de-escalation strategies and behavior management techniques
  • Assist with implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide support with medical procedures and first aid
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement lesson plans
Requirements
  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
  • Light lifting (up to 20 pounds)
  • Experience working with students with Down's Syndrome and Autism
  • Related diploma or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution
