Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Over-the-Road Trucking Professional to join our team at Rapid Transport. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Load and unload goods
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
Requirements
  • Valid driver's licence
  • 1 year of experience with Class 1 driver's licence
  • Ability to obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits
  • $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Overtime required
  • Travel expenses paid by employer
Work Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent physical health, strong attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
