Join BMO Capital Markets, a leading financial services provider, as a Senior Vice President, Asset Management. This role is part of the Capital Markets Initiatives and Project Delivery team, closely aligned with the priorities of the Heads of Capital Markets.

Mandate: The position involves managing and implementing strategic business initiatives to deliver incremental revenue opportunities and efficiencies for Capital Markets. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and implementing strategic business initiatives to deliver incremental revenue opportunities and efficiencies for Capital Markets
  • Leading and guiding team members and stakeholders to achieve business objectives
  • Providing recommendations and information to senior-level business partners on the implementation of strategic initiatives, transaction structuring, product development, and infrastructure capabilities
  • Interpreting Bank policies, corporate standards, directives, guidelines, and processes to ensure adherence
  • Staying aware of changing regulatory requirements and their impact on the business

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in a field such as finance, mathematics, statistics, or computer science
  • A CFA charter or candidacy or an MBA is an asset
  • Familiarity with financial data providers (Bloomberg, Reuters)
  • Ability to attentively review, assess, and provide detailed information daily on multiple projects in an organized manner
  • Effective influencing and change management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
