Senior Vice President, Asset Management

Waterfront Toronto is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its development agenda as Senior Vice President, Asset Management. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this key member of the senior leadership team will provide strategic oversight and direction for the Corporation's real estate assets, ensuring alignment with Waterfront Toronto's long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute Waterfront Toronto's ambitious development agenda, driving new community developments, including affordable housing and commercial spaces.
  • Manage asset optimization and secure critical municipal approvals.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across government, non-profit, and private sectors.
  • Lead and mentor development teams to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale urban mixed-use developments, with expertise in projects that integrate affordable housing, retail, commercial, and recreational components.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills, enabling alignment of stakeholders behind Waterfront Toronto's vision and navigation of multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts, manage issues proactively, and mitigate unforeseen delays.
  • Strategic negotiator with knowledge of the latest trends in sustainable urban development and smart city initiatives.
