About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Director to join our team at Everest Fresh Mart Inc. As a Store Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store remains a leader in the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their job requirements.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze trends to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes, identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold in our store, ensuring that they meet the needs and preferences of our customers.
  • Price and Credit Policies: Implement and manage price and credit policies, ensuring that they are fair and competitive.
  • Procurement: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets our quality and pricing standards.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our store and increase sales.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure that our store remains profitable.
  • Staffing Requirements: Determine staffing requirements, ensuring that we have the right number of staff members to meet customer demand.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Staff Recruitment and Supervision: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff members, ensuring that they are meeting their job requirements.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring that our store remains a leader in the retail industry.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Store Director who has a strong background in retail operations and management. You should have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
