**Business Administration Apprentice**
As a volunteer Business Development Intern at Famigomart, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. You will work closely with our Business Development team to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and assist in developing strategies to expand our market presence.
**Duties**:
- Assist the Business Development Manager with various administrative tasks and clerical duties.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients and target markets.
- Assist in creating and implementing business development strategies to achieve company goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide input and ideas for continuous improvement of our business development processes.
- Knowledge in Digital Marketing would be an added advantage but not required.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance testing of our website should be an added advantage.
- Assist with managing company paperwork, ex: Quick books.
- Assist with managing company expenses, including but not limited to: invoices, receipts, expense reports, etc.
- Assist in managing company projects and initiatives by keeping track of project progress and providing updates to management.
- Other administrative tasks as needed or assigned by the Business Development Manager or Executive Director.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. College degree required for some positions (e.g., Accounting).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail required for this role.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative required for this role.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing required for this role.
**Job Type**: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months
**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
