About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Director to join our team at Everest Fresh Mart Inc. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store remains a leader in the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the impact of competitors' operations on sales.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold in our store, ensuring that they meet the needs and preferences of our customers.
  • Price and Credit Policies: Develop and implement price and credit policies that are competitive and aligned with our company's goals.
  • Procurement: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets our quality and pricing standards.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our store and attract new customers.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize our store's financial performance.
  • Staffing: Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers as needed.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced retail professional who has a proven track record of success in store management and operations. You should have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions under pressure.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
