Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the department's core team, driving productivity and engagement.
  • Uphold and refine departmental administrative procedures and corporate policies.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with agents and clerks to streamline invoice processing and elevate service quality to suppliers.
  • Review and authorize transactions and payments for invoices and expense accounts with precision.
  • Monitor and analyze accounts payable aging monthly, providing insightful reports to management.
  • Offer expert support to the accounts payable team on complex issues, fostering problem-solving and growth.
  • Drive the adoption of innovative procedures and technological tools to enhance accounts payable efficiency.
  • Generate comprehensive management reports to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Roughly 7-10 years of experience working in an Accounting/Accounts Payable role.
  • Successfully completed a College Diploma/CEGEP with a focus in accounting or have relevant working experience.
  • A high level of team spirit with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Experience in personnel management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Fluency in both official languages (French and English).
