We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Ambient Mechanical Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, preparing pre-qualification submissions, and reading blueprints to determine work requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Develop and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure project profitability
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 1-2 years of experience in construction estimating
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

This is a permanent position with a 38-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent attention to detail.
