Flagging Specialist

Responsibilities:
* Provide traffic and pedestrian control on roadways
* Collect and sort material tickets
* Follow all safe work practices
* Set-up and tear-down of barricades and signs
* Assist in daily safety meetings
Specific Accountabilities:
* Experience working with construction crews with measurable production goals
* Flexible availability to include overtime, possible weekends and nights
* Work environments will vary making it necessary to tolerate weather conditions, such as rain and extreme temperatures
Qualifications and qualities:
* Class-5 license and own means of transportation is required
* Previous flagging experience/certifications are an asset
* Able to work long hours and weekends
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Essential Skills:
* Oral communication
* Working with others
