Job Description

As a key member of the Aspire Bakeries team, the IT Infrastructure Support Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the stability and security of our internal computing environment. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to internal customers, resolving hardware and software issues, and escalating complex problems to senior technical staff as needed.
  • Hardware Management: Manage the lifecycle of desktop and laptop hardware, including imaging, cataloging, setup, shipping, archiving, and disposal.
  • Software Management: Handle the requisition, purchasing, installation, and setup of software and peripherals.
  • Incident Management: Monitor ticketing system escalation queues and individual ticket status to ensure prompt and efficient customer service support.
  • Documentation: Generate and maintain related IT infrastructure documentation, including technical notes, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in a technical support role, with a strong background in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, MS Office, and MS Windows Applications.
  • Skills: Advanced understanding of IT support operations, including ticketing systems, incident and request classification, remote control tools, intranet and internet research, network monitoring tools, and triage and escalation guidelines.
  • Travel: Local travel approximately 0%-25%.
