About the Role

The Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO) Canada team is dedicated to delivering exceptional day-to-day services to Société Générale investment and corporate bank units, as well as their clients. Our goal is to accelerate their transformation by leveraging agile methodologies, spreading technology and data culture, and adopting an industrial approach.

This is a dynamic position that requires technical and functional support for applications used by trading and risk analysts based in New York. Strong communication, social skills, and knowledge of ITIL best practices are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and functional support for applications used by trading and risk analysts
  • Work closely with the Dev team to deliver exceptional services to our traders and prevent or resolve major incidents in production
  • Maintain the user's ticket backlog using Unity and troubleshoot applications during live production incidents
  • Perform morning and evening checks to ensure production stability before market openings
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an application support analyst
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent job experience
  • Track record of delivering continual improvements and automations
  • Basic level of coding ability, including the ability to write an SQL query and pass a basic coding game
