Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Analyst to join our team at Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for all procurement-related activities and will report to the Director of Production Planning.
Position Summary:
The Production Analyst will work closely with the Production Planning Team to ensure seamless communication and coordination. This role requires a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while performing multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and manage internal transfer processes to optimize efficiency.
- Maintain, track, and control internal stock targets, identifying areas for improvement.
- Monitor production schedules and report on opportunities to increase business while maintaining on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Assist with other projects and analysis as needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Sound decision-making ability, computational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of MS-Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Legally eligible for employment in Canada.
