Job Description

We are seeking a Production Analyst to join our team at Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries. Reporting to the Director of Production Planning, this person will be responsible for all Procurement related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and manage internal transfer process.
  • Maintain, track, and control internal stock targets including recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor production schedules which are approaching planned capacity and report to team. opportunities to take more business while keeping the mills on-time.
  • Assist with down-stream operations along with identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure best practices and continuous improvement initiatives are followed.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
  • Assist with other projects and other analysis as needed (. APO, Cognos/Watson training and reporting).

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of Manufacturing experience.
  • Sound decision making ability, computational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of MS-Office with an emphasis on Excel.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Legally eligible for employment in Canada.
