About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Systems Design Engineer to join our client's team on a contract or permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, controls, or systems engineering and experience working with high-level clients.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing complex systems and equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success, leveraging expertise in machine design, build, and control to drive innovation, and developing and maintaining technical knowledge in nuclear energy and related fields.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • 10 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, controls, or systems engineering support
  • Experience in nuclear tooling and equipment development and testing, preferably including field support and experience
  • Strong understanding of machine design and build, machine controls, structured problem solving, statistical analysis, and precision engineering principles
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with high-level clients


Nice to Have Skills and Experience

Candidates with the following skills and experience will be highly competitive:
  • Licensed Professional Engineer designation in Ontario (P.Eng.)
  • Nuclear Energy Worker status or willingness to work in a nuclear environment
