Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Concierge to join our team at FirstService Residential. As a Security Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and security of our residents and properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and clarify residents' needs and desires, answer questions, and provide directions and instructions.
- Remain calm under pressure and act quickly to resolve issues.
- Manage and screen messages, schedule access for authorized vendors, and maintain guest privacy.
- Ensure all safety and access control procedures are followed and maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide protection to clients, residents, and property, and provide assistance/support as required.
- Observe floors and stairways to ensure they are clear of debris, obstructions, and fire hazards.
- Enforce client rules, regulations, and laws, and assist police and medical staff when required.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, customers, contractors, and visitors.
- Perform routine property patrols and respond to emergencies and fire alarms.
- Follow up with daily documentation, daily occurrence log, incident reports, and front desk software as required.
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security License.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Completion of college-level courses with a concentration in business/hospitality or police/security foundations would be an asset.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit for extended periods, and stand for extended periods.
