We are seeking a highly skilled Addictions Recovery Specialist to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. As a key member of our Adult Services team, you will play a critical role in assessing, counseling, and developing comprehensive recovery and case management plans for individuals struggling with addiction and related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide best practice methodology to assess and screen clients, and offer individual and group counseling sessions
  • Develop and implement educational sessions and group therapy programs in the Day Treatment Program as required
  • Assess and provide referrals for substance dependence and related issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Dependency studies or Social Work (BSW) is preferred; Additional Baccalaureate degrees in social sciences or human services may be considered if relevant experience is demonstrated
  • Clinical experience and knowledge of group therapy and addiction assessments and interventions are essential

  • A competitive salary of $41,000 - $53,000 per year, depending on experience
