Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Aide to join our team at Langdon Retirement Villa Incorporated. As a Personal Support Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care services, including toileting, feeding, and transferring
  • Assist with mobility and transfer of residents, using proper lifting techniques
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition to the nursing staff
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
