Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aluminum Door and Window Installation Technician to join our team at Doors & Windows Markham. As an experienced installer, you will be responsible for installing aluminum doors and windows in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine layout and installation procedures for aluminum doors and windows
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations, ensuring accurate and efficient work
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, maintaining a safe and organized workspace
  • Utilize hand and power tools to complete installations, adhering to safety protocols
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe access
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in aluminum door and window installation
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Dependability, organization, and teamwork skills
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job with a permanent work term. The work language is English, and the work hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.
