Job Title: Bartender

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Heritage Indian Cuisine Nanaimo. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Serving Food and Beverages: Serve food and snacks to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Wine and Drink Selection: Advise customers on wine selection and provide recommendations on drink options.
  • Payment and Cash Handling: Collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Drink Preparation: Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
