Job Overview

KNAAR RESTAURANTS CORP is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless service delivery, maintaining profitability, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to boost revenue and maintain profitability.
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient service delivery, high-quality food, and exceptional customer experience.
  • Monitor staff performance, providing coaching and support to enhance productivity and job satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers to secure the best possible deals on food and other essential supplies.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives to promote our brand and attract new customers.
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to help them grow professionally and personally.
  • Support the social and labor market integration of newcomers and refugees by providing access to community resources, language training, and skills development opportunities.
  • Recruit and onboard new staff members, including those with foreign credentials, and provide them with the necessary training and support to succeed in their roles.
  • Offer mentorship and coaching to youth, veterans, indigenous people, and mature workers, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their career goals.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
