Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation package that reflects the investments we make in our colleagues to help them achieve their financial, physical, and mental well-being goals. This includes a base salary of $113,000 CAD, variable compensation, and several other key plans such as health and well-being benefits, savings and retirement programs, paid time off, banking benefits and discounts, career development, and reward and recognition programs.

Job Description

CUSTOMER FACING ROLE
  • Collaborate with Business Owners

We're looking for a Data Analyst Strategist to work closely with business owners to identify opportunities and serve as an ambassador for data science. You'll be familiar with the business context and data infrastructure and can translate business problems to viable data science solutions.

  • Extract Insights from Big Data

You'll use a wide range of programming languages (e.g., Python) and techniques for extracting and preparing data, applying statistics and various advanced analytics, along with business acumen to extract insights from the big data. Visualize insights from the data to tell and illustrate stories that clearly convey the meaning of results to decision-makers and stakeholders at every level of technical understanding.

  • Develop Scalable Solutions

Collaborate with other partners, such as data and business analysts, software engineers, data engineers, and application developers to develop scalable and sustainable data science solutions that retain long-term benefit to the business.

SHAREHOLDER PERSPECTIVE
  • Provide Analytical Thought Leadership

As a Data Analyst Strategist, you'll provide analytical thought leadership and stay current on developments in data mining and the application of data science. Help the organization understand the principles and the math behind the scientific process to drive organizational alignment.

  • Enhance Performance

Translate up-to-date information into continuous improvement activities that enhance performance. Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meet business needs, comply with internal and external requirements, and align with business priorities.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Relevant Experience and Education
