About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at JAI PUSHPA AND CHRIS HOLDINGS LTD. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are sanitized and stored properly, and assisting with food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, and cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, cupboards, and appliances.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, and assist with food preparation and cooking.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Assist with serving customers at counters or buffet tables, and take customers' orders.
Requirements
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Reliability and strong teamwork skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. The language of work is English, and public transportation is available.
