Job Summary

Adecco Canada is seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team in Mississauga, ON. As a Test Technician, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the accurate and efficient assembly of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances to product specifications.
  • Lift up to 30lbs and operate machines with moderate frequency.
  • Use hand tools and power tools according to product specifications.
  • Participate in team efforts to prevent defects, increase efficiency, and improve overall safety.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks and standard start checks as per ETQ.
  • Work from drawings and test documents.
  • Adhere to all safety, ESD, and housekeeping policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • College Diploma/Degree or equivalent Military experience.
  • Experience in electronic assembly.
  • Experience in troubleshooting down to the component level.
  • Experience in power electronics for analog and digital circuits.
  • Security clearance as per CGP is required.
  • Working knowledge of English language, good verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination.
  • Good team player.
  • Able to work from drawings and written instructions.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Flexible to work on a second or third shift when required.
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs consistently.
