Job Summary:

Johnson Electric is seeking a highly skilled Test Lab Technician to join our Product Development Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing prototype inspection, assembly, and testing services. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of prototype components using CMM and manual gauging techniques
  • Assemble and test prototypes, including pump assembly and setup of testing equipment
  • Analyze test results and compile detailed reports
  • Provide test feedback to engineering personnel and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work in compliance with Johnson Electric's Quality, Safety & Environmental Systems

Requirements:

  • College technician or technologist diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of pump operation and theory, with electronics and instrumentation background preferred
  • Proficiency in LABVIEW and MS Office, with mechanical aptitude and team player skills
