About the Role:

Stryker Canada ULC is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Stryker products to healthcare professionals in the Ottawa area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for the promotion and sale of Stryker products
  • Meet sales targets set out by the Regional Manager
  • Educate and inform doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Products
  • Direct product evaluations in operating rooms, hospitals and office settings
  • May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
  • Assist in RFP related activities and contract negotiation
  • Keeps Regional Manager informed of territory progress on a regular basis
  • Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion
  • May assist in the training and development of associate sales personnel
  • Managing and maintaining a sample inventory of products
  • Must understand and adhere to all operating room and pertinent Occupational Health and Safety Act guidelines when conducting a product evaluation
  • Has the necessary authority to execute above mentioned job responsibilities, and will have authority to carry out specific responsibilities defined by quality system documents
  • Has authority to recommend and initiate preventative and correction action with regard to product non-conformances and quality system activities
  • Other duties as assigned by your Regional Manager

Requirements:

  • University Degree - B.B.A. or B.A
  • 2+ years sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
