Job Summary

CSS Wind Inc. is seeking a skilled Windmill Repair Technician to join our team. As a Windmill Repair Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of wind turbines, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on wind turbines, including assembling mechanical equipment, detecting and troubleshooting irregularities, and repairing or replacing defective machinery parts.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate machining tools, hoisting and lifting equipment, and other machinery to fabricate parts and install equipment.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and ensure that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Training and Certifications: Possess certifications in Hoisting and Rigging Training and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Hoisting and Rigging Training and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

As a Windmill Repair Technician, you will work at heights, in noisy environments, and in confined spaces. You will also work in various locations, including on the road, and may be required to travel.
