Job Title: Windmill Repairer

CSS Wind Inc. is seeking a skilled Windmill Repairer to join our team. As a Windmill Repairer, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical equipment, detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions, and repairing or replacing defective machinery parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical equipment and ensure proper installation
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in windmill systems
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts to ensure optimal performance
  • Supervise other workers and provide guidance on maintenance procedures
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and equipment
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and install machinery and equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Hoisting and Rigging Training and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and in confined spaces

  • Handling heavy loads and physically demanding work
  • Standing for extended periods and working at heights
