Job Title: Windmill Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Windmill Technician to join our team at CSS Wind Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical equipment, detecting and troubleshooting irregularities, and performing routine maintenance work on machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical equipment
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Supervise other workers
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Installing machinery and equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

Requirements:

  • Hoisting and Rigging Training
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Work Environment: The successful candidate will be required to work at heights, in noisy environments, and in confined spaces. They will also be required to work in all weather conditions and may be required to travel to various locations.
