About The Role: We are seeking a skilled Landscape Construction Lead to join our team at The Landscape Artist Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and estimating labour and materials, organizing and directing construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls, and maintaining work records and logs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and generate detailed estimates for labour and materials.
  • Organize and Direct Construction: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Keep accurate records of project progress, labour hours, and material usage to support project management and future reference.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Site Environment: Outdoors
  • Tasks: Read blueprints and drawings, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years, permanent employment, 40 hours per week.
