Job Title: Landscaping Foreman/Woman

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at Maisonscapes Construction Corp.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation of gardens, lawns, and other outdoor features, as well as managing a team of staff to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Organize and direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring attention to detail and quality control.
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials required for projects, ensuring budgetary constraints are met.
  • Coordinate the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other outdoor features.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Perform tasks similar to those of workers supervised, ensuring a hands-on approach to project management.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various work sites.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment.
  • Excellent judgment, teamwork, dependability, and reliability skills.
