Job Summary

AFPS - Accurate Fire Protection & Security is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure the safety of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Fire Alarm Systems: Inspect fire alarm systems to determine the requirements for repair or maintenance, and test systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Install and Repair Electronic Equipment: Install new electronic equipment and repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power, or specially designed tools.
  • Diagnose and Locate Faults: Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults, and adjust, align, or replace electronic equipment and assemblies as needed.
  • Complete Work Orders and Reports: Complete work orders and test and maintenance reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week
